• 120 miles of spring-fed, cold-water trout streams managed by the Conservation Department
• Lake Taneycomo, near Branson
• The winter trout areas of St. Louis, Kansas City, Columbia, Jackson, Jefferson City and Mexico

Various types of waters and management, provide different fishing experiences for the angler:

• Heavily stocked trout parks
• Floatable rivers with stocked trout
• Small, wadable streams with wild trout
• Year-round fishing with catch-and-release

• Nearly 2 million trout, produced at Conservation Department hatcheries, stocked each year in Missouri
